The dog laugh sounds similar to a normal pant. But by analyzing the pant using a sonograph, this pant varies with bursts of frequencies, resulting in a laugh. When this recorded dog-laugh vocalization is played to dogs in a shelter setting, it can initiate play, promote pro-social behavior, and decrease stress levels.
A Compilation Album is something I am usually not too fond of. Separate songs placed on a disc with no real co-relation. But Air’s Late Night Tales has been spinning and spinning and spinning at my place. What a selection of music, so well balanced, so sweet.
Last night I enjoyed this interview with David Lynch. I found the part where he is talking about meditation fantastic (I always enjoy people talking with great enthusiasm).
Lynch in the interview is quite charming and seems 100% honest to me. Striking, since he is the guy who manages to scare me like no one else does. When it comes to his movies people are always discussing the content, which you shouldn’t. I love Lynch because he manages to scare me, I mean truly scare me. Bob sitting behind the bed in Twin Peaks has been haunting me for years. Laura Dern running towards the camera in Inland Empire wakes me up in the middle of the night.
At the end of the interview, Lynch gets angry, really angry. On the question on what he thinks of product placement in movies.
I couldn’t help noticing how wrong certain ads were that appeared next to the news of the Virginia massacre. A big red button turning your ads off in extreme circumstances, would it help?
I have some examples of ads displayed that day, I’ll share one. A Belgian newspaper running a DVD campaign. You would almost suspect the ad being targeted on the context.
Metatale presented their TOP100 of most influential Flemish blogs yesterday. Funny enough Gent BlogtGentblogt rules again. It seems that the city of Ghent is very influential online. We have our office in the correct city!
