Reckon it is about time I properly introduce myself. Since 1985 I go by the name of Andrew Vassallo, but people often simply call me Dre. Still green behind my ears, I earned my first stripes as a youth trend researcher and coolhunter. Now I found my way to Adhese.
A quick round up of ‘that guy‘ who will be helping Stefan in the future. Born in Malta, raised in Belgium, I discovered soon in life that advertising and the internet was something that could draw my attention and interest me. Besides this, I have a passion for sneakers, street art and everything else relating to youth culture. I blog. I tweet.
Guess we will get to know each other better in the future, but in the meantime there is only one thing that rests for me to say: nice to meet you all. Enchanté one might even say.
Our blog was kind of quiet lately. We moved it, changed platform and are now back in full force. Yihaa.
We recently launched a new campaign on the Enchanté Network together with the great people from Canon. Five of the most influential bloggers received a Canon HF10 HD camcorder that they can use for a couple of months to produce content for their blog. This blog campaign is part of the Canon Freecording campaign that stresses that using a camcorder can be just plain fun. Watch out for some sweet video content created by your favorite Enchanté Heroes.

Sometimes the smallest campaigns on the Enchanté Network show the true power of the Blog Network. For instance. Floréac, a company based in Lochristi is looking for employees. What better platform to promote these jobs then the Lochristi Blogt page on het Nieuwsblad Online.

Just got back from a small holliday and I notice two new guys at the office … strange.
Yesterday, Lode brought a huge bag of Chupa Chups into the office. Two fun facts about Chupa Chups:
1. The name comes from the Spanish verb chupar, meaning "to suck".
2. The logo was created by mister Salvador Dali himself.
(And the third – and probably most important – fact: I love them.)
We decided we needed a new logo for Enchanté. Tada!
